At Oregon Optometry and Contact Lenses, we accept both medical and vision insurance. Vision insurance can be applied to your annual wellness exam and eyewear benefits, such as glasses and contact lenses. If any issues are discovered during your wellness exam that require additional treatment or follow-up visits, these will be billed to your medical insurance.

Medical insurance can be used for eye-related health concerns at any time, similar to how you would use it with your primary care physician. Common reasons to use medical insurance include eye injuries, pain, infections, eyelid bumps, and allergic reactions. Chronic eye conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration are also covered under medical insurance.
